Venizia
Norah and I The view of the countryside along the way
Norah got a little warm in her infant carrier so we took her out and placed her on the seat next to me until it was time to get off the train.......She is getting so big!
This is the view outside of the train station
Stopping to grab a bite at Trattoria Toma' before heading to San Marco Square
McDonald's is EVERYWHERE
San Marco Square
The Venetian Islands are behind us....
They used to have a rope tied from one pillar to the other used to hang thieves...
Norah catching a few zzzz's
We got a little lost......notice the upside down tables.......just weeks ago the water in Venice was so high they had those out as a makeshift walkway.
The famous Rialto Bridge..built in 1588.
Well, that was our adventures while Carl and Norma were here. I am sure there will be more when Billie and Amelia come out in May!
I will post more picture of Norah, she continues to amaze Dennis and I with her facial expressions and her stubbornness. I must say, she is doing rather well with my one eyebrow raise!

Firenze and Pisa
Once inside you could take the stairs....all 433 of them to get to the top of the bell tower.
This day was the day I almost got arrested by the Polizia, and this is the entrance to the station where we had to sort everything out. Well, you have to pay to go up the tower and we told them four adults and one child. We went up to the tower for our tour and they would not let us in because evidently they didn't charge us for Norah. I said "Oh Sh*t" in Italian because we were going to miss the tour and why pay 15 euro for a 5 week old who was sleeping. The guy that was taking the tickets and the guy helping him apparently he took offense and called the Polizia on me because that was a bad word to say in public. His boss understood the miscommunication on both parts. One guy apologized and the other was sent home because he didn't want to accept my apology for the miscommunication. Now Norah will know I almost went to jail in Italy because I was sticking up for her.
